Castle Rock Writers provide education and support to aspiring and published writers in our region and beyond, through monthly workshops and a yearly writer’s conference.
City of Castle Pines
The City of Castle Pines encourages and relies on dedicated volunteers to meet the strategic goals of our community. Located approximately 20 miles south of Denver, Castle Pines was established in 2008 and is home to roughly 10,000 residents. Our volunteers give unselfishly of their time, ensuring community events run smoothly and help shape the City’s future through appointments on our Planning/Zoning Commission.
City of Lone Tree
The City of Lone Tree has evolved into a thriving City that is synonymous with a high quality of life. Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation
CALF connects people of all ages and abilities to agriculture through authentic educational programs and community projects. Our goal is to help people experience agriculture and better understand its importance in everyday life. CALF provides a wide variety of volunteer opportunities.
Douglas County Government
Douglas County was one of the original 17 counties created in the Colorado Territory in 1861. Today, the county is one of Colorado’s 64 and 336,000 residents call it home. 42% of the county’s population lives in one of the five incorporated municipalities: Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Larkspur, Lone Tree and Parker.

Douglas County Libraries elevates our community by inspiring a love of reading, discovery and connection.

When you volunteer at Douglas County Libraries, you become an invaluable part of our team, helping us provide resources for learning and leisure to improve the lives of the people in our communities.
Hide in Plain Sight
We raise awareness and funding for post-secondary education and emergency financial assistance for students who are at risk due to domestic, health or economic conditions beyond their control. Through education our scholars become competitive in the job market, earn a living wage and break their cycle of homelessness or poverty.
Highlands Ranch Community Association
The Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA) is a nationally award-winning nonprofit organization for 34,500 home owners in Highlands Ranch. The HRCA maintains four state-of-the-art recreation facilities, provides architectural control and covenant enforcement, programs youth and adult fitness programs and educational opportunities, manages the Backcountry Wilderness Area, and hosts over 100 community and cultural events per year.
Highlands Ranch Metro District
The Highlands Ranch Metro District was founded in 1981 as the local government in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. It is governed by seven elected board members who represent the citizens of Highlands Ranch. The Metro District provides a variety of municipal services to the master planned community of 96,000 people.
Neighbor Network
Neighbor Network is the Aging Resource Center for all Douglas County senior residents and their families. We are a relationship-based nonprofit, dedicated to providing resources and volunteer services that allow older adults to age with dignity and in their homes.
Pedaling 4 Parkinson’s
Pedaling 4 Parkinson’s is an annual charity bike ride that starts and ends in Lone Tree, CO. Funds raised go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. We are looking for volunteers to help us host the event, from set-up to tear-down, hosting aid stations along the bike route, greeting participants at the park, and many other opportunities!
Pine Trails At Castle Rock
Located among the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado, our community empowers residents with the physical and emotional support they need from experienced care professionals. Pine Trails at Castle Rock utilizes volunteers to help with senior activities.
Town of Castle Rock
Well-maintained trails, cleaner roadways, fun sports programs and smooth-running community events are just some of the things volunteers help bring to our community and the Town of Castle Rock.
Town of Larkspur
The Town of Larkspur is a small rural community that is home to the Colorado Renaissance Festival and Jellystone at Larkspur Camping Resort. We have a magnificent Community Park and welcome people from all over the area to enjoy the beauty and peaceful surroundings of our County life.
Town of Parker

Zoology Foundation
Zoology Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Larkspur, CO. The animal sanctuary is home to a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, pigs, turtles, iguanas, alpacas, and even two camels named Han Solo and Chewie! Check us out at zoology foundation.org.
